Official Records consist of liens, plats, certificates of title, mortgages, lis pendens, matrimony licenses, deeds, judgments, death certificates, military discharges, and more. This deed must exist:

All deeds must contain the grantor'southward and grantee'south address and filed with the required fees at the Clerk'due south part.

If a married couple owns property jointly and one becomes deceased, a certified copy of the death document must be recorded with the Clerk's office. The Property Appraiser will and then be notified to change the revenue enhancement roll to show the survivor as sole owner.
